State Police: Man arrested for driving drunk, crashing into tree

BRUNSWICK, N.Y. - State Police say they arrested a man with a BAC more than two times the legal limit.

According to authorities, Tyler Shaw, 22, of Hoosick Falls, was arrested on Saturday for Aggravated Driving While Intoxicated. 

Troopers say they responded to a car accident on Tamarac Road in Pittstown and found Shaw's truck off the roadway. The truck had crashed into a tree.

Shaw was located and admitted to consuming alcohol prior to the accident, according to State Police. Police also say his BAC was .19-percent. He was released and is to appear in the Town of Pittstown Court
