ROTTERDAM, N.Y.—A Schenectady man was arrested for burglary on Wednesday.
Police responded to a home for a reported burglary Wednesday afternoon after the homeowner stated he had arrived home to find a kitchen window broken and cash missing.
Thomas McGinnis, 34, known to the homeowner, quickly became a suspect and was arrested later Wednesday night at his home.
McGinnis was charged with Burglary in the second degree, Petit Larceny, and Criminal Mischief in the fourth degree.
McGinnis was sent to the Schenectady County Jail in lieu of $20,000 cash bail.
