Siena hosts Illinois State in CBI Final Four

ALBANY, N.Y. – The Siena College men's basketball team will take on Illinois State in the CBI Final Four game Wednesday.

Siena made it to the Final Four of the CBI Tournament after beating Pennsylvania State in the quarterfinals last week.

Siena is one of just 34 Division I programs still playing, and if they win Wednesday's game, they will be one of just 10 left. Teams that have won the CBI have gone on to have success in the NCAA Tournament in the next season, including Pittsburgh, Tulsa and Virginia Commonwealth University.

Head Coach Jimmy Patsos said a huge reason the team has advanced so far is because of the fan support. The team is 12-4 at the Times Union Center holding opponents to under 70 points a game.

If the Saints win the game, they advance to the finals on Monday, March 31.

Tip-off is at 7 p.m. at the Times Union Center.
