Multiple shots fired in Troy

TROY, N.Y. – Troy Police are investigating multiple shots fired in Troy Tuesday night.

Police received a call for multiple shots fired around 9:22 p.m. Tuesday in the area of Middleburgh and 9th Streets. Police confirm that shots were fired, but suspects fled prior to police arrival.

Police do not believe anyone was injured.

Shortly after the shooting, a vehicle became disabled in a snow bank at Hoosick Street and 10th Street. The license plates on the vehicle were switched, and police have determined the vehicle was most likely involved in the shooting.

Two occupants fled on foot, and they have not been located, yet. The suspects are described as two Hispanic males. One was wearing a red jacket, and the other was wearing a red ball cap.

There have been no arrests.
