Family offers $15,000 reward for missing Shaker grad

LATHAM, N.Y. - It is approaching three weeks since a Shaker High School graduate went missing on Spring Break, and now his family is offering a reward.

Reny Jose's sister has announced on Facebook that despite the vigorous searching by police in Panama City Beach, they still havent found any answers in the missing persons case.

Jose was reported missing by his friends on March 4 after the 21-year-old went for a walk the night before and never returned. His clothing and personal items were found in a garbage can near the home, including his cell phone.

The family of the Rice University student is now offering a $15,000 reward for information about the man's whereabouts.

Jose is described as 5'10" and around 185 pounds. He has black hair and brown eyes. He graduated from Shaker in 2010.

The Sheriff's Office said it is possible Jose took drugs prior to his disappearance and that he may have a history of drug use.

Anyone with information about Reny Jose is asked to contact the Bay County Sheriff's Office at 850-747-4700.
