CHESTER, N.Y. – A Pottersville man has been arrested for driving while intoxicated after the Warren County Sheriff's Office says he struck a snow bank.

On March 22, at about 6:41 a.m., the sheriff's office came across a vehicle stuck in a snow bank in front of Stephenson's Lumber on State Route 9 in the Town of Chester.

Lucas J. Lafountain, 30, was operating the vehicle and the sheriff's office says his breath test results were a .11 percent blood alcohol content.

He was ticketed for failure to keep right, Driving While Intoxicated, and Driving While intoxicated with a .08 percent of 1 percent or more of alcohol.

Lafountain is to appear in Chester Town Court at a later date.
