ALBANY, N.Y.—An Albany man is in custody for weapon and narcotics possessions following a search warrant.
On Wednesday, March 19, detectives from Albany Police executed a search warrant as part of a long-term narcotics investigation.
Detectives seized 90 grams of heroin, 109 grams of cocaine, and 87 grams of methyl amphetamine, and $2,000 in cash during the investigation. A loaded handgun was also recovered.
Mariba Lownes, 42, was arrested at the scene without incident.
Lownes was charged with three counts of Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the second degree, two counts of Criminal Use of Drug Paraphernalia, one count of Criminal Possession of a Hallucinogenic Substance in the third degree, Criminal Possession of a Weapon in the second degree, and Criminal Possession of a Weapon in the third degree.
Lownes was sent to the Albany County Jail.
