Man pleads guilty to charges made after car accident


FULTON COUNTY, N.Y.—A 28-year-old plead guilty to multiple charges related to a car crash on Wednesday.

Andrew Grismore, 28, plead guilty to three counts of assault in the second degree, three counts of Vehicular Assault in the second degree, seven counts of Reckless Endangerment in the second degree, one count of Assault in the third degree, one count of Driving While Intoxicated, and one count of Reckless Driving.

The charges stemmed from a crash on July 5, 2013, involving two cars. Grismore's car and a car containing seven people crashed and resulted in four of the passengers being injured and requiring medical treatment.

Grismore was promised a sentence of six months in jail with five years of probation, fines, surcharges, license revocation, and ignition interlock device.

Sentencing is scheduled for May 14.
