ALBANY, N.Y. - Lane closures are expected on I-90 as major work is set to begin on the Patroon Island Bridge that connects Albany and Rensselaer.
Governor Cuomo announced on Wednesday that work will begin soon to rehabilitate the bridge over the Hudson River. All ramps comprising of the I-90 to I-787 interchange will also be included in the project.
The $146 million project will replace existing decks and other aging components of the bridge.
Two lanes in each direction will be closed most nights, and various lanes will be closed between the hours of 9 a.m. and 3 p.m. All lanes will be open during the morning and evening commutes.
