Brooklyn man sentenced for selling Crack Cocaine

ALBANY, N.Y.—A Brooklyn man was sentenced to five years in State Prison for selling crack cocaine on Tuesday.

Shannon Liggins, 32, pleaded guilty to one count of Attempted Criminal Sale of a Controlled Substance in the third degree, a felony, on January 22.

The plea accounts for two separate drug sales charges where Liggins attempted to sell $100 worth of crack cocaine to an undercover police officer on February 1, 2013 and April 23, 2013 in the city of Albany.
