BRUNSWICK, N.Y. -- Two home invasion suspects have been arrested by Rensselaer County Sheriffs.

Officials say the home invasion occurred in the town of Brunswick on March 14, 2014 at about 10:45p.m.  Deputies responded to the incident, searched the immediate area for clues and conducted a quick search of the surrounding neighborhoods for possible suspects.

Authorities say Troy resident Tatianna Shakema Parker, 17, aided by other individuals unlawfully entered, stole, damaged property, and caused serious physical injury to one of the residents.

Parker is charged with felony Robbery, Burglary, Gang Assault, Attack Burglary, Conspiracy, Criminal Mischief, misdemeanor Petit Larceny, and misdemeanor Endangering the Welfare of a Child. She is held on $10,000 cash or bond.

Alexandra B. Frazer, 19, of Troy was charged with felony Robbery, Burglary, Attempted Burglary, Conspiracy, Criminal Possession of a Weapon, and Petit Larceny. She has been remanded to Rensselaer County Jail in lieu of $20,000 cash or bond.

The Sheriff's Office stressed that this was not a random incident, and there is a common connection between the victims and the suspects who forced themselves into the house, breaking in through the front and rear door and seriously injuring and assaulting one of the residents.
