BRUNSWICK, N.Y. – The New York State Police in Brunswick arrested a man who was being sought in connection with narcotics sales and theft of a pickup truck in Rensselaer County.
Savieon Jones of Troy was arrested Thursday on an arrest warrant.
The arrest warrant stemmed from an incident in the Town of Brunswick where Jones attempted to sell narcotics but fled the scene in a stolen pickup truck when he was approached by officers.
The 19-year-old was located in the city of Troy by members of the New York State Police, U.S. Marshals Service and the Troy Police Department.
He was taken into custody without incident, processed and arraigned in the Town of Brunswick Court. He was remanded to the Rensselaer County Jail without bail.
