Man sentenced for selling heroin


ALBANY, N.Y. – An Albany man has been sentenced to five years in State Prison for selling heroin.

According to District Attorney David Soares, James Outlaw, 43, was also to three years of Post Release Supervision. 

On February 4, 2014, Outlaw pleaded guilty to one count of criminal sale of a controlled substance in the 3rd degree, a felony.

Officials say that on March 13, 2013, on Livingston Avenue in Albany, Outlaw was observed Albany PD selling heroin. 

Soares said the guilty plea is in full satisfaction of multiple narcotic sales attributed to Outlaw.
