Cohoes man pleads guilty to attempted burglary

ALBANY, N.Y.—A Cohoes man pleaded guilty to attempted burglary of another Cohoes resident on Wednesday.

Dennis Dudley, 37, pleaded guilty to one count of Attempted Burglary in the second degree, a felony.

Dudley entered a residence on September 16, 2013, in the city of Cohoes when the owner came home and confronted him. Dudley then left the residence.

The Cohoes Police Department found Dudley with the resident's cell phone in his possession.

Dudley faces three years in State Prison followed by five years of Post Release supervision when sentenced on April 9.
