Two people arrested after Sheriff's respond to disturbance call near nightclub

HALFMOON, N.Y. – The Saratoga County Sheriff's Office have announced the arrest of two people at a nightclub.

According to authorities, the office responded to a disturbance ball on Route 9 T in front of Double Visions Nightclub around 10:08 p.m.

Christopher Barclay, 27, is accused of engaging in a fight or violent behavior with passers-by, pushing another person, and resisting arrest. He has been charged with Disorderly Conduct, Harassment 2nd, Resisting Arrest, Criminal Obstruction of Breathing, and Assault 2nd.

Authorities say that while Barclay resisted arrest, a Deputy Sheriff was injured.

Barclay was arraigned and remanded to Saratoga County Jail in lieu of bail. 

The Sheriff's Office said they also arrested Kimberly Palso, 30 for resisting arrest. According to authorities, Palso attempted to physically prevent Barclay from being taken into custody.

Palso allegedly grabbed the arresting Deputy from behind in an attempt to pull the Deputy away from Barclay.

Palso was also arraigned in Halfmoon Court and remanded to Saratoga County Jail in lieu of bail.
