TROY, N.Y. - Former athlete and alcohol awareness speaker Aaron Cooksey will share his story of his deadly crash with students at Russell Sage on Wednesday.
Cooksey's will talk about his decision to drink and drive, which resulted in an accident that killed his best friend. After serving four years in prison, he now travels the country sharing his story to educate young adults about the dangers of drunk driving.
The event is free and open to the public. It will be held at Russell Sage 1 p.m. in the Bush Memorial Center.
