ALBANY, N.Y.—Local boxer and Albany High School graduate Amir Imam will be honored at a media session Thursday.
Albany County Executive Daniel McCoy will honor Imam, who won his last fight on February 21 when he knocked out opponent Jared Robinson in the fourth round.
Imam, 23, is spending a few days in Albany before returning to Miami to train for his next fight. He has a 13-0 record with 12 wins by knockout.
The media session will take place Thursday, February 27, at 3 p.m. in Room 900 of the Harold L. Joyce County Office Building.
