Activities teach local students about STEM


HUDSON, N.Y.—Through hands-on activities, students in grades 4 through 8 will explore STEM.

To help prepare students for future careers, schools are encouraging students to explore Science, Technology, Engineering and Math (STEM).

Maple Hill Middle School is holding its second annual STEM day for students. Students will move from classroom to classroom to learn and explore different business fields.

STEM day will take place on February 27 from 8:30 a.m. until 1 p.m. at Maple Hill Middle School.
