Man accused of causing altercation with bar staff, found with crack cocaine


ALBANY, N.Y. – A Bronx man was arrested on Sunday in Albany.

According to Albany Police, Neuville Bryant, 25, was involved in an altercation in the parking lot on the corner of North Pearl Street and Sheridan Avenue on Sunday shortly before 4 a.m.

Officers intervened and attempted to arrest Bryant but the man allegedly put up a brief struggle. Police say the man was found in possession of 106 individually wrapped pieces of crack cocaine.
Following an investigation, officers learned that Bryant had been inside "Legend's on Pearl" on North Pearl Street, where he had been allegedly harassing a female patron. The female victim asked bar staff to escort her to her car in fear that Bryant would follow her to the parking lot.

Authorities say the bar staff was walking her to her car, Bryant allegedly approached and engaged the bar staff in a physical altercation.    
Bryant has been charged with two counts of criminal possession of a controlled substance 3rd, obstruction of governmental administration 2nd, and resisting arrest. He has been arraigned and remanded to the Albany County Jail.
