Albany man sentenced for Residential Stabbing

ALBANY, N.Y.--An Albany man was sentenced to three years in State Prison in Albany County Court Tuesday.

Shateek Cain, 28, pleaded guilty to one Count of Assault in the Second Degree, a felony, on January 22.

On April 16, 2013, Cain caused physical injury to a victim by stabbing her in the neck and abdomen with a knife. Cain fled the scene after the victim kicked him off of her.

Cain not only faces a three year sentencing, but also five years of Post Release Supervision.
