COLONIE, N.Y. – A public hearing will be held in Colonie Tuesday night in order to discuss a proposed makeover for part of the Northway.
The Department of Transportation will be laying out the reconstruction plans for Exit 4 and replacement of the bridges that go over Albany Shaker Road.
Phase one would replace the bridges starting this summer. Full traffic would be maintained as more than 110,000 cars cross those bridges every day.
Phase two would tackle the Exit 4 interchange but that work would not start until 2019.
Tuesday night's meeting will be at the Sand Creek Middle School at 7 p.m.
