ALBANY, N.Y. -- The Downtown Albany Business Improvement District has announced a celebration for the10th anniversary of Downtown Albany Restaurant Week.
A10-day celebration will take place from Wednesday, April 2, 2014 through Friday, April 11, 2014, in honor of the event's milestone.
Program highlights include 10 Year Anniversary
drink specials on Thursday, April 10th, a Downtown Albany Ambassador
evening and a concert in the park. The BID will be announcing the full program
for Restaurant Week in mid-March at downtownalbany.org.
Starting in 2004, the event has brought over 182,000 diners to downtown Albany over the past 9 years, translating into $6.3 million in economic impact for the locally owned BID businesses.
This year, 16 Downtown Albany Restaurants are
scheduled to participate in the special offering of three-course meals for $20.14.

Sheehan, "Albany boasts some of the best restaurants in the entire region. Congratulations to all the businesses that make our Downtown a vibrant destination for residents and visitors alike."
