Fort Edward man accused of stabbing individual in vehicle


MOREAU, N.Y. – The Saratoga County Sheriff's Office said they have arrested a man after an investigation into a stabbing.

According to the Sheriff's Office, Haroldo Lopez Marroquin, 24, was arrested on Sunday evening following an investigation.

Marroquin is accused of assaulting another person with a knife inside a vehicle which was traveling on Burt Road early Saturday morning. The Sheriff's Office said the Fort Edward man caused a laceration to the victim's hand.

Authorities say the victim required medical attention.

Marroquin was arraigned for Assault 2ndand remanded with bail of $10,000 cash or $20,000 bond.  He is scheduled to appear in Moreau Town Court at a later date.
