ALBANY, N.Y. – A HEAP Application Assistance Day will be held on Wednesday.
From 4 p.m. to 7 p.m., the program will be held at 155 Clinton Avenue in Albany.
Home Energy Assistance Program (HEAP) is a federally funded program that issues benefits to supplement a household's energy costs. HEAP also offers emergency benefits for households in a heat or heat-related emergency.
The Assistance Day was announced by the Office of the Albany County District Attorney's Community Justice Outreach Center, in conjunction with Cornell Cooperative Extension Albany County and the Albany County Department of Social Services.
No appointment is necessary.
