FONDA, N.Y.—Two veteran Troopers will be assigned to the State Police Troop G satellite station in Wells.

After nearly two decades since a New York State Trooper was assigned to the satellite station in Wells, Troopers Ronald Dacre and Casey Krul will be permanently assigned to the station, effective March 13.

"The New York State Police continually assesses the needs of the communities we serve. I believe the residents of southern Hamilton County will be better served with a full-time presence of Troopers working out of the Wells station. I would like to thank Town of Wells Supervisor Brian Towers for his support to make this a reality," said Captain Douglas Keyer, Zone 3 Commander.

Both Troopers will be patrolling the southern Hamilton County towns of Wells, Lake Pleasant, Hope, Benson, Arietta, and Morehouse.

Anyone in southern Hamilton County seeking assistance from the New York State Police can contact the Troopers at 518-630-1700.
