EAST GREENBUSH, N.Y. – East Greenbush Police say they have arrested two Albany women who are accused of stealing a television set from a store and giving police wrong names.

Authorities arrested Delana Jacobs, 21, and Debra Ann Singletary, 46, on Thursday. They have been charged with Burglary and Larceny for allegedly entering a Wal-Mart and leaving with a 50 inch HD television set without paying for it.

Jacobs and Singletary have also been charged with False Personation and Forgery in the 2nd degree for assuming identities of other people. The women allegedly provided police with false signatures on their fingerprint impressions. Authorities found the women's true identities after an automated fingerprint report rejected the names. Police then found the women had a prior criminal record.

Bail has been set for $5,000 for each woman.
