Syracuse beats UAlbany

ALBANY, N.Y.—The UAlbany men's lacrosse team goes to Syracuse for their season opener for the second year in a row.

UAlbany and Syracuse both had 9 goals apiece at halftime.

Cuse pulls ahead after the first half with a three goal lead, but UAlbany didn't let that last long.

"Yeah we just said in our locker room, this is one of the best teams in the country and we just played them to overtime.  If that's how we start our season, playing a team like Syracuse to overtime like we did last year, we feel really good about where we can take this thing," said UAlbany head coach, Scott Marr.
