KINGSTON, N.Y.—The Schoharie county man accused of killing a co-worker at an office in Kingston last week pleaded not guilty to the murder.
After pleading not guilty, a city police officer said that's not what the suspect told him.
According to a claim by a Kingston Police Lieutenant, he disarmed 53-year-old David Reese, of Gilboa that day.
At the time, the lieutenant said Reese told him he shot the 33-year-old Aron Thomas twice. That lieutenant then found Thomas's body at the maintenance shop of a regional office of the New York City Department of Environmental Protection.
Police still haven't found a motive for the shooting.
