Sheriff: Three injured after driver attempts to spin doughnuts on ice

LAKE GEORGE, N.Y. – The Warren County Sheriff's Office says a man caused a personal injury accident by attempting to spin doughnuts in his vehicle.

According to authorities, police and other first responders were called to a roll over personal injury accident around 11:30 p.m. on Saturday. The accident happened on the ice on Lake George.

The truck was driven by 25-year-old Derek Williams of South Glens Falls, according to the Sheriff's Office. Williams was allegedly trying to spin doughnuts on the ice when he struck a snow embankment, which caused the truck to become airborne.

The truck overturned about two-four times before coming to a rest on its roof, authorities say.

Williams and one other passenger suffered minor injuries. One was also transported to Glens Falls Hospital for further evaluation.

The Sheriff's Office say they are investigating this accident further.
