North Greenbush police investigate bank robbery

WYNANTSKILL, N.Y. -- North Greenbush police say the First Niagara branch on Main Avenue in Wynantskill was robbed on Thursday morning.

Police say a man entered the bank with a scarf over his face, a white hat with a stripe and a dark colored hooded jacket over his head. He demanded money from the teller, then fled on foot.

He is described as 6' tall, 190 lbs. and wearing blue jeans and a grey and black winter jacket.

Police say it is possible he was picked up by an accomplice in the area of Pawling Avenue who was operating an older model white Honda CRV.
