Albany man sentenced for burglary

ALBANY, N.Y.--An Albany man was sentenced to three years in State Prison in Albany County Court Thursday.

Timothy Pone, 28, pleaded guilty to one Count of Attempted Burglary in the second degree, a felony, on December 12, 2013.

Pone broke into an apartment and stole electronics and money on October 12, 2013. The resident of the apartment came home and confronted Pone. The resident also recognized Pone because he used to live in the same apartment complex until recently evicted.

Pone fled by jumping out the window and was later found with the property he stole in his possession.

The Albany Police were called and Pone was taken into custody.
