ALBANY, N.Y.—An Albany man was sentenced to two years in
State Prison on Thursday.
Rasaan Gourrier, 18, was sentenced to two years in State
Prison followed by two years of Post Release supervision in Albany County Court
Gourrier pleaded guilty to one Count
of Attempted Criminal Possession of a Weapon in the Second Degree, a felony, on
December 19, 2013.
On May 11, 2013, Gourrier possessed a .380 caliber
semiautomatic hanggun and fired several shots at a group of individuals across
the street from him.
