TROY, N.Y. – Troy police are investigating a robbery at the First Niagara Bank at 33 Third St. in Troy.

At 11:13 a.m. on Wednesday, police say a suspect entered the First Niagara Bank at 33 Third Street in Troy, approached a teller and demanded cash. They say no weapon was displayed, and the teller complied and handed over an undetermined amount of cash to the suspect.

At this time the suspect is described as a man wearing a black North Face jacket, gray hoodie, and a dark cap with design on front and tan pants.

Police say he fled on foot out of the Broadway doorway of the bank; no vehicle known to be involved.
