ALBANY, N.Y.--A public information meeting will be held Wednesday, February 12 to discuss Global Companies' permit application to install seven boilers at its Port of Albany facility.
Staff from the Department of Environmental Conservation and Global will be present to answer questions and provide additional information.
The meeting will begin at 5:30 p.m. at the Giffen Memorial Elementary School Auditorium in Albany.
The Schedule for the night is as follows:
5:30 p.m.- The public is invited to attend an availability session to ask questions and address any concerns.
6:30 p.m.- Presentation given by the DEC regarding the permit application and the DEC's procedures and policies related to regulating such facilities.
7-9 p.m.- Public can comment on the draft permit before the DEC.
