Cambridge conducts ‘Active Shooter Drill’


CAMBRIDGE, N.Y.--Members of the Cambridge and Greenwich Police Department, rescue squad, and fire department will be conducting an "Active Shooter Drill" on Saturday, February 15.

The school will take on staff and student volunteers to participate in the drill. The purpose of the drill is training for first responders.

The program will be overseen and conducted by certified instructors from the New York State Department of Criminal Justice and Homeland Security to ensure everyone's safety.

The drill will take place from 9 a.m. until noon.
