ALBANY, N.Y. – On Sunday the Muscular Dystrophy Association held its 4th annual Muscle Walk, a free event that's not only fun for the whole family, but a way to fight back against the debilitating disease.
SEFCU arena saw hundreds ready to fight muscular dystrophy walked to raise money for treatments and help find cures for the disease which robs many people of the ability to use their muscles.
Muscular Dystrophy is largely an inherited disease. It weakens the musculoskeletal system, slows motor skills, and kills muscle cells and tissue.
