DUANESBURG, N.Y. -- The Duanesburg High School wrestling coach is in the midst of his 48th and final year.
For nearly half a century, Joe Bena has used his classroom to teach lessons of wrestling.
"Why did I stick it out this long, that's a good question. I've been having fun and I just love being around the kids and I love teaching and this is my classroom, the wrestling mat is my classroom," said coach Bena.
Bena has mentored collegiate all-Americans, and three Olympians, including gold medal winner Jeff Blatnick.
With his career coming to an end, his legacy lives on.
