Bronx man sentenced for possession of narcotics

ALBANY, N.Y.--A Bronx man was sentenced to three years in State Prison on Wednesday.

Hassan Richardson, 27, pleaded guilty to one count of Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the fourth degree, a felony, on November 6, 2013.

On November 17, 2012, the Colonie Police Department received a call about an individual pointing a fun at a group of people and driving erratically.

When officers pulled Richardson over, they conducted a search of the vehicle that led them to find five grams of crack cocaine, six grams of MDMA powder, and 18 ecstasy pills.
