Union and RPI respond to additional penalties

ALBANY, N.Y.--After the Union-RPI brawl on Saturday, the league issued further suspensions on both team coaches.

Rick Bennet's two game suspension is now upped to four games. RPI head coach Seth Appert was issued a one game suspension.

"We accept the league's decision. As we have stated previously, we regret the incident. At this point, our focus is on moving forward," stated Union College.

RPI responded in a similar manner: "ECAC hockey has taken the action it feels is necessary, and we fully support the decision of the league."
