WHITEHALL, N.Y. -- Police say a 23-year-old Whitehall man allegedly stabbed a resident in the hand with a grilling fork on Tuesday and escaped the police station afterwards.
Sean Gordon, 23, of Whitehall, allegedly disturbed a residence, assaulted a victim, and then fled the scene intoxicated.
Gordon was arrested by Whitehall Police nearby, and went through a field sobriety test which determined his blood alcohol content to be a 0.21 percent.
Once at the police station, Gordon allegedly snuck out a rear door when he was supposed to be using the restroom. Police later received information regarding his location and took him into custody at his place of employment.
Gordon was charged with Driving While Intoxicated, felony Assault, and Escape. He was then sent to the Washington County Correctional Facility for $5,000 cash of $10,000 bond bail.
