TROY, N.Y. -- After what police call a potential hostage situation, a Cohoes man was arrested on Sunday.
Rashann Ramos Hunt, 35, of Cohoes, had his car parked outside his ex-girlfriends residence on Sunday evening when she became suspicious.
After ignoring his calls, she finally answered and heard her sister in the background asking Hunt why he had a gun and why he was in their house.
Hunt's ex-girlfriend panicked and dialed 911. Once Patrol Officers arrived, they asked Hunt to show his hands and comply with being taken into custody.
Hunt was arrested and charged with burglary in the first degree, Criminal Possession of a weapon in the third degree, two counts of Criminal Contempt in the first degree, two counts of Menacing and two counts of endangering the Welfare of a Child.
