Vermont man arrested after rolling pickup


HOOSICK, NY - State Police in Brunswick arrested Michael P. Mills, 27, from Cavendish, VT, for Felony Driving While Intoxicated (due to a previous conviction for DWI), Driving While Ability Impaired by Drugs, Aggravated Unlicensed Operation, and Unlawful Possession of Marijuana.

At 11:15 Sunday morning Mills was driving on Pine Valley Road in the Town of Hoosick when he went off the road and rolled his pickup truck onto its side. Mills told the responding troopers he couldn't remember what happened but he was going to his friend's house to buy marijuana.

He was processed at SP Brunswick where a breath test showed his blood alcohol content was .08%. He also failed several field tests for having drugs in his system.

Mills was arrainged in Hoosick Court and remanded to Rensselaer County Jail on $ 20,000 bail.
