QUEENSBURY, N.Y.—Two were arrested on Thursday after getting pulled over by police for vehicle and traffic violations.
Julius Hester, 20, of Philadelphia Pennsylvania, was arrested for Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the third degree and Criminal Impersonation in the second degree. Hester was allegedly found to possess 25 bundles of heroin, and identified himself as another person to Troopers.
Also arrested was Veronica Batease, 21, of Rutland Vermont, the driver of the vehicle. Batease was charged with Vehicle and Traffic Law violations as well as alleged Unlawful Possession of marijuana and Possession of a Hypodermic Instrument. She was also allegedly charged with possessing a prescription drug outside of its original container.
Both were sent to Queensbury Town court Thursday and remanded to the custody of the Warren County Sheriff.
