ALBANY, N.Y.--An Albany man pleaded guilty in Albany County court Tuesday morning to a felony charge.
Shateek Cain, 28, pleaded guilty to one count of assault in the second degree, a felony.
On April 16, 2013, while at a residence on Lark Street in Albany, Cain allegedly caused intentional physical injury to a victim by stabbing her in the neck and abdomen with a knife. The victim kicked Cain off of her, at which time Cain fled the scene.
Cain faces three years in State Prison, followed by five years of Post-Release supervision when sentenced March 18, 2014.
