ALBANY, N.Y.—An Albany man was arraigned on murder charges Tuesday morning in Albany County Court.
Oscar Valcarcel, 41, pleaded not guilty on charges of two counts of murder in the first degree, both felonies, and three counts of murder in the second degree, also felonies.
Police allege that Valcarcel caused the death of a resident of an apartment on Western Avenue in Albany while in the course of committing a burglary and robbery on December 4, 2013.
Valcarcel pleaded not guilty and remains in custody without bail.
