ROTTERDAM, N.Y. – Police in Rotterdam say they have arrested a man after an investigation into a one car accident which happened over the weekend.

According to Rotterdam Police, on Saturday around 9 p.m., Dylan Clark, 25, was driving on Route 5S near Pattersonville when the accident occurred.

Police say the car went off the right side of the road, struck a mailbox, a fire hydrant, and two utility poles before coming to a complete stop. This incident caused power to be disrupted in the area for several hours before restoration by National Grid, say police.
