Schenectady man arrested, charged with child endangerment

CLIFTON PARK, N.Y. – A 20-year-old
Schenectady man has been arrested and charged after he allegedly contacted an
11-year-old over the internet.
The State Police
in Clifton Park arrested Joshua M. Loso for allegedly Endangering
the Welfare of a Child.
According to police, Loso
contacted an 11-year-old girl initially via Facebook and met up with her in the
Town of Halfmoon on January 15 at around 3:30 a.m.
A concerned citizen
alerted the State Police which lead to his arrest just after 5:00 a.m. at the
Stewarts located on State Route 146 in the Town of Halfmoon.
Loso was arraigned before
the Town of Halfmoon Town Justice Lester Wormuth and then remanded to
Saratoga County Jail on $1,000 cash or $2,000 secured bond. He is to reappear
at the Town of Halfmoon Court on January 28, 2014 at 5:30 p.m.
