ALBANY, N.Y.—An Albany woman pleaded guilty to one count of burglary in the third degree, a felony, on Wednesday.
Tina Maier, 20, entered a residence on Second Avenue in Albany on November 12, 2012 through an unlocked front door and stole multiple tools that were inside, valued at $741.94.
On March 6, 2013, Maier entered Albany County Drug Court but fled New York State in May of 2013 and went to Vermont, where she was arrested and put in custody of the Vermont Department of Corrections and waived extradition back to New York State. As a result of this, she violated the conditions of the Albany County Drug Court Program.
Maier faces 2 to 6 years in State Prison when sentenced on March 5, 2014.
