Jury selection underway for Albany man accused of killing wife
ALBANY, N.Y.—Jury selection is underway for an Albany man accused of killing his wife.
Robert Williams is on trial for the death of Sharene Wallace in May 2013.
Williams is accused of stabbing her multiple times in her Sherman Street home. The victim was found deceased inside her apartment in a bedroom closet when police arrived.
At the time of the crime, Williams was under the supervision of the NYS
Department of Corrections and Community Supervision (Parole) and is a level 2
registered sex offender. Additionally, Williams was wanted for a Parole
Wallace was also under the supervision of the NYS Department of Corrections
and Community Supervision at the time of her death.
