LAKE LUZERNE, N.Y. – A benefit to raise money for a murder victim's children will be held on Sunday.

The benefit will raise money for 42-year-old Patricia Burns' children. The event will take place from noon to 6 p.m. at the Long Horn in Lake Luzerne.

Burns was stabbed to death on Christmas Eve. Her estranged husband, Clifford Burns, 46, was arrested and charged with Murder in the 2nd Degree.

Burns' 22-year-old stepdaughter was seriously injured during the incident. However, her injuries were non-life threatening. The couple's teenage daughter was treated for a cut to one of her hands following the stabbing.

Meanwhile, Soave' Faire, a store in Saratoga Springs, is collecting monetary donations for Burns' children through the end of January.

You can either drop off donations, in person, at the store, on 449 Broadway or mail a check to:

Soave' Faire
449 Broadway
Saratoga Springs, NY 12866

Please make sure the checks are filled out to "Soave' Faire" with a note "Donations for Patricia Burns".
